Formación en canto coral
Los coros de la Fundación Música en los Templos nacen en 1998 como proyecto del Padre Alfonso Rincón González, a través de la Delegación para la Cultura de la Arquidiócesis de Bogotá. Buscan promover el canto coral por medio de espacios de práctica musical comunitaria en diversos lugares de la ciudad.
Una de las líneas de este proyecto es la formación coral infantil y juvenil. Estos coros están integrados por niñas y niños entre los 8 y los 17 años de edad; son procesos formativos en canto coral de calidad en barrios populares y vulnerables de la ciudad de Bogotá, como una manera de construir paz, arte, espiritualidad y cultura en sus comunidades. Sin requisitos académicos, conocimientos o habilidades especiales para la música, los coros forman a niños y jóvenes en el canto a través de repertorios religioso, folklórico, popular y universal.
